In 2022, Zero Positive was approached by Brett Owers HOD of Science at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College. Since then, Zero Positive has installed metering and has successfully captured BT’s solar and grid consumption. Students have been working through our educational resources and the year 11 physics class have completed a full energy audit and are looking at ways to reduce the school’s energy consumption.
Early this year staff and students participated in a climate literacy workshop with our head of Sustainability Rob Breuer. An eco-committee has been set up and students are working on a video to encourage everyone to be more energy conscious and have even participated in a climate anxiety to agency workshop with our Youth Program Coordinator Aiana.
